Wordless Wednesday – Dakota’s Self Portrait

Author: Happy Wednesday! Well we didn’t get that much snow. I measured on my snow board 3.5 inches. My overall overage was 7 or 8. There was a lot of blowing and drifting. School was cancelled today and the rest of the county had a 2 hour delay. The only reason it was cancelled was because the kids had early release other wise they would have had a 2 hour delay. There was a lot of blowing and drifting over night.
Dakota wasn’t feeling good at all yesterday. He was pale and just blah. He did a lot of laying around yesterday. Today he must be feeling better as he is wound up this morning. I plan on taking Brittany outside later on today to play in the snow. The winds are suppose to die down later this morning. So it will be perfect to go outside and play.
The picture I am going to share with you is another one of Dakota’s self portraits. He loves to take pictures and he loves to take self portraits. Enjoy!

I’m glad to hear Dakota is feeling better today.What a cute pic! It’s snowing today here too and schools are closed.So,I think we will make another snowman and enjoy snow one more time:)

I am going to take Brittany outside a little later. Shortly here her and I are going to make pudding and do some pudding painting. LOL Should be fun. Hope you enjoy the snow

Thanks Kara! I am glad we got a little more snow. My daughter was outside today playing in it. She even attempted snow Angels.

It sure is Michelle. Especially when you never know what your going to find on the camera. LOL
He does look cute and like hes feeling good..I get such a laugh out of the kids with these digital cams…My kids have 1000′s of self pics for their profiles and what not..

I am not either so don’t feel bad. In fact I hate pictures taken of me so I always hid behind the camera. LOL
He looks super happy! That is a funny picture. It didn’t start snowing here until after the kids went to school so they had school today.

That stinks that it didn’t start until after they went to school. We had a blast in the snow. Didn’t stay out too too long as it was a little chilly.
I can’t believe all the snow everywhere. We’re lucky here in Sacramento. Although we NEVER get snow.

I can’t believe how the east coast is getting slammed and we in the midwest have hardly had anything at all.
I think all kids like to take the self portraits. Glad he is feeling better.

Thanks Jean. I am so jealous I still want more snow. We did have fun playing around today in the snow. Brittany attempted to make snow angels for a brief second.
He has such beautiful eyes! We got 10 inches of snow had school and no delay. The school bus got stuck and slid into my driveway yesterday afternoon! Was a little scary!

Our schools were closed yesterday and are closed again today. I think we got about 16″ of snow yesterday, and that’s on top of several inches that was still on the ground. I wouldn’t mind it if we didn’t have to shovel out!

Wow that’s a lot of snow. I heard that the east coast has just been pounded with the snow. That’s where all our snow is going. Snow steelers. j/k. I bet the kids are happy to not have school. This morning my oldest asked me if there was a delay. I said nope it’s all on time.
