Things have been crazy since we got back from the Neurologist in Milwaukee. Last week we had the stomach bug fly through our house. Dakota had two small seizures and one big one. He is doing great.

Well Monday night he was a friends house playing on a trampoline and I am not sure how he landed on the trampoline but he sprained his foot really good. I took him to the Doctor’s yesterday and there is no fracture thankfully. He has a air cast on and is now walking on it but it hurts pretty bad still.

Those that know Dakota know he has a very high tolerance to pain so when this happened he didn’t bother to tell anyone. He tried to army crawl all the way home. The mom noticed that Dakota was acting funny and asked what was wrong. She brought him home thankfully. Dakota would have literally army crawled all the way home.

Monday we saw the psychiatrist. I explained to him that he was to manage the tick medicine but he didn’t bother. So I was angry and left a message with the neurologist. They finally did call back. We are upping one of the meds he is on. I sure hate to see him suffer. I know they don’t hurt but they are really annoying to him. Oh and while we saw the psychiatrist he also mentioned seeing a new tick on his blinking. Well I was so mad because there is a new one but no one wanted to do anything.

I have spent two weeks on the phone with doctors for all my kids and I am just tired of Doctors. I am really thankful for great family doctors we have for the kids though. They have been awesome.
