Weekend Update and Question?

Well it’s been a while since I really filled you all in on what is going on here. Dakota had his med change this week. Both my me and his new doctor. The only thing I really see is that he is still hyper and over stimulated. My neighbors who are like our second family even noticed a difference. Dakota is using his manners better, he gets along with the kids with out fighting, less screaming , no meanness, just hyper. LOL So much more pleasant when he wants to do things. Later today we are going to make Leprechaun hats. I will show the pictures during the All About Kids Tuesday Meme. Dakota thinks that if we make these hats he can catch the leprechauns and steal their pot of gold. LOL Love his imagination.

Yesterday was pretty stressful as Dakota was a bit out of control. He wasn’t listening. He had a mind of his own. Drove me completely up the wall. When he thought he was helping he was actually making things worse. See I have an issue with my floors. I have OCD. I can’t stand dirt on my kitchen floors it bugs me. If he spills water he steps in and tracks prints on it and I go into a tizzy. Well I realize he only wanted to help but Geesh listen to me when I talk. I know he doesn’t understand completly. He even scrubbed the toilet bowl and wiped out the bathroom sink. How sweet is that to help his mom.

Well yesterday was a rough day but even rougher at night. Dakota wanted to help my neighbors with the garden. Of course they are really nice and let him help. Well we told him it was time to come in. Ok sent him to his room to settle down. Suddenly the phone rings. My neighbor said Dakota is outside. I said WHAT!! She said he was playing on the swings. So I told Earl and he said how. I said well I can tell you he didn’t use the door. He ripped his screen in half and climbed out his window. Not once but 3 times we had to go get him. Sigh…. Told you he has a mind of his own.

Reminds me when I was like 4 I was grounded. My dad worked third shift so when he went to sleep I was told to stay in my room. Well I really wanted to go swimming with my friends. So what did I do. I climbed on top of the dresser and opened my window hopped out and closed the screen. I thought I was slick. So when my mom would come home I would say Hi mommy go back into the house and then go back to my room. I must have did this a couple times before I got caught. LOL My dad said I left the screen open just a crack. He woke up one day as I was too quiet. Low and behold I was outside swimming. My dad caught me and I got sent back to my room. LOL Guess like Mother Like Son… or is it the other way around… LOL

Today is going ok so far. We are going to be rearranging a room today. First things first I have to make breakfast. Bacon, Egg and Cheese sandwhiches. YUM Then it’s work out time for me on the Wii Fit. Other then that no real plans here. I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.

So now I am leaving you all with a questions what is one of your child hood memories??

I have some awards I have to work and catch up on. Will be working on them later this week. I am behind on visiting blogs too! So I hope to catch up today!

Hi! Thanks for visiting while I was on vacation.

Your a lot stronger than I am. I think I would have freaked if my son would have done that. I bet there is never a dull moment though. LOL.

LOL there is never a dull moment here. At the point that he did that last night I no nerves left I was so tired of hollering and worn out from the day I just didn’t care to be honest. Today is yet another one of them days. LOL I hope you had a good vacation.

Hi Stacie-First of all, hang in there. You are doing a great job.

In terms of childhood memories-m favorite one is this: when I was a kid, we lived in Honolulu from the time I was about 7 to 9 years old. We went to Waikiki every single weekend. Well, my dad would take my little brother and I out in the ocean and I would get on my dads shoulders and my brother would get on my shoulders and then we would all topple over. I still remember it so clearly. That was the last place we lived as a family before my parents divorced. Years later, when my husband and I went back to Waikiki, the ocean still tasted and smelled just the same. That is one of my favorite childhood memories, and that beach is my favorite place on earth.

One of the greatest childhood memory for me is spending time at the Jersey Shore. My parents own a little beach house and ever since I was a little girl, we would spend EVERY summer down there. I would have to say there is a special place in my heart for that salty air and warm summer sun. I now have the pleasure of watching my own children experience everything I did at the same beach house. Circle of life, right?

That is really nice when your own kids can enjoy the same thing when they grow up. Thanks for stopping by.

My husband has memories like that. I was a city girl and I kinda wish I could have spent time on the farm. I finally did when my son was in 4H and he was showing a calf. Thanks for stopping by.
