Tuesdays All About Kids #2

Welcome to the second week of Tuesday’s All About Kids. I know I forgot last week and I was out with my mom today. I know excuses, excuses. I took my mom out to lunch for her Birthday today. I wanted to do this before I left but I got side tracked when the phone rang. LOL
I don’t have any pictures for you this week as we didn’t get a chance to do anything. This week Dakota and I are going to make Turtle Racers. I bet your thinking what on earth are those. Well you have a heavy paper plate and you cover the back with tissue paper. Then out of construction paper you have a head, four legs and I think there is a tail. I don’t know for sure. Then in the middle is a string. I am guess you run with them behind you. I don’t know. I know I should know. My memory hasn’t been that great for the last couple days. I will take pictures and write better directions for next week.
Dakota also wants to make some Leprechaun hats. Yep he has a fascination with those tiny little green guys. He swears he is going to catch one and trick him to get that pot of gold. LOL With that we are using paper bowls, paint and glitter to decorate it.
I hope to accomplish these two things so I can share the pictures with you next week.

We didn’t do it yet. Dakota was gone all day with Daddy visiting some family. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by.
All my 7 year-old kid wants to do is play Wii, destroy stuff, go out and buy toys, destroy them, play Wii, destroy stuff … it’s a cycle.
Of course boys aren’t really into crafts, or maybe it’s just the kind of human being I produce.

LOL boys will be boys. We have the Wii too and Dakota doesn’t play it much. When he does it’s two games Star Wars and then the Wii Sports. Thanks for stopping by.
Ops, no kids yet! Ha… but its o nice finding blogs who post kids art! When I have one of my own, I would definitely create a blog of him or her…

Awww Daisy! I am lucky that Dakota likes crafts. Well ok it’s on his terms though. LOL Thanks for stopping by.
I’m visiting family while I recover so my kids are having a ball going to parks with their grandparents!
