Welcome to the First Tuesday’s All About Kids Meme.

This meme is dedicated to our kids. Share your crafting, projects, reading, activities, and etc. Even suggest ideas for kids. As long as it has to do with your kids then share it. This week I am going to talk about my daughter. Brittany is 14 months and she enjoys reading. Her two favorite authors that I can read over and over again are Karen Katz and Margerat Miller. Karen Katz has really colorful books with babies in them. Margaret Miller has just baby pictures in them. She loves them.

I tried to sit down with her today and give her a crayon. I showed her how to scribble and I did a hand over hand. At first she did it faintly but then decided the crayon looked much more yummier then trying to draw or scribble. LOL

So then I decided to add some paint to her hand to see what her reaction would be. I pressed her hand on paper and tapped one side with my hand to try to show her. She did do it a couple times. When I went to rinse her hands she didn’t like that. I don’t think she knew what to make of it. LOL But it was fun trying. Below is a picture of her beautiful first hand print picture.

Thank you Veronica. I don’t think she knew what to make of the paint on her hand…It was fun watching her… maybe next we will explore pudding at least she can eat that and draw in it. Not sure she will as she is only 14 months. But the fun is exploring and watching her curious mind work. Thanks for stopping by!
