Trip To The Apple Orchard

Before we left today for the Apple Orchard I had made a apple for Brittany to color. She didn’t really try to color it really. Instead she looked like she drew shapes. I see a lot of circles and even a heart. My little girl drew a heart! I can’t believe it that was a sight to see. I just let her use her imagination and color it the way she wanted.

Here are the pictures from the Apple Orchard. Brittany really had fun running around and picking up apples. She even took a couple bites and then went for a new one a couple times. We got a huge bag of apples. I am going to make some applesauce and can some with the left over jars I have. What ever is left after that I will freeze it. I also picked up 4 pie pumpkins to make pumpkin puree and freeze it.

I forgot to mention that this weekend my parents came over and on Saturday My Mom, Dad, and I made and canned 20 jars of salsa. Sunday my mom and I did 5 quarts of Spaghetti Sauce. This was our first time canning and now I am addicted. LOL

Ok now back to the subject of the apple orchard: Enjoy the pictures.

I thought so too! Hopefully later today Brittany and I can do a little more crafting if she is up too it. LOL at canning the employees. I had a great time with my parents canning. I am going to see if my mom wants to come this weekend and do applesauce.

It was fun Amy and I did manage to get that Apple Craft Idea done with my daughter. It’s nothing really fancy and maybe it’s geared towards little kids but it was fun. So you have to wait for that tomorrow when I can link up :)

The little ones can be very creative. Just give them a blank piece of paper and you could end up with a master piece. Love the Apple Orchard. Great family fun.

That is so true Grampy. I love to see what they come up with. Going to make the caramel apples this weekend and make homemade applesauce. Might be going back to the orchard for more pumpkins and apples next week. I love how much fun the kids have at the orchard.
