Trees are starting to change way to early!
It really is dry around here. The grass is so brown. You can’t walk on it barefoot as it feels like needles poking your feet. The trees are really starting to show they can’t take anymore. The wilting of the leaves. I even noticed a couple trees with leaves gone and starting to turn. If you look really closely in the pics below you will see.
It has been hot and humid with no lake breeze. Although last night it was gorgeous outside with the cool breeze. We were thinking of going to the parade in Kewaunee. Trout Fest is going on. It is suppose to be 91 and there are Heat Advisory until Monday Night. Three quarters of Wisconsin are under it. There was rain North, West and South of us. I think we were lucky to get a couple sprinkles.
Hope this doesn’t mean we will get an early fall.

Even with all the rain and cold we had here, it’s starting to get very brown and dry too. It worries me, because I know all it takes is one little spark.

The sad thing is we are in a drought however they have not even put burn bans for the county yet that I know of. We got 2 minutes of rain last night and we have a 40% chance of rain tomorrow. Don’t think we are going to get any rain though according to how they are predicting it.
We are very brown and dry here too. I am hoping we will get enough rain to perk up all the plants.

Me too. My plants in the planters are so thirsty for rain water.
That’s sad the leaves are starting to dry up!
