The Snowman’s Song – A Christmas Story – Review
I received a copy of The Snowman’s Song – A Christmas Story illustrations by Tracy La Rue Hohn, story by Marilee Joy Mayfield, and published by Leaping Antelope Productions.
I must say this is a classic Christmas Story. This story really warms the heart. This is a book I can see reading with my kids over and over again and not just at Christmas.
The illustrations in this book were beautifully done and I really believed they fit the story well.
This story is about dreams coming true. The little snowman wants to be able to sing. He wants his voice to be heard. There was little hope that he would sing because he lives in a snow world. A cheery, little cardinal gives him hope that a Christmas miracle is on it’s way and that the little snowman has to believe. I can’t tell you the rest or it will ruin the story.
One thing I want to share with you is that when you purchase The Snowman’s Song from the books website you will be helping out a needy feeling. I think that is awesome as your giving someone else hope!
Please note I was not paid for this review. I only received a copy of the book along with a Bonus Audio CD inside that tells the story. This review is strictly my opinion.
