The Lego Book Review and Giveaway- Great Idea for Christmas!
I recently had the chance to review The Lego Book by Danial Lipkowitz. I must say that this would make one awesome Christmas gift for the LEGO lover in your house.
The pages are just beautiful. Now keep in mind this isn’t a step by step guide. This is a book to give you lots of creative ideas. The ideas are so very intricate and fascinating. For my kids it gives them inspiration on things that they can build.
When you first start reading the book you see the history of LEGO, key moments and special features. Which I found very interesting. If I read it right it started back in 1932.
The LEGO Book includes new and updated information on LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Ninjago, LEGO Friends, and more.
Explore the LEGO toys systems, LEGO theme parks with their amazing animated models, and the LEGO Groups spectacular diversification into films, video games, and the visual arts. Incorporating clear instruction panels on how to create great models from a few simpleĀ bricks.
Let me share with you a picture that my son and daughter both picked out.
My son absolutely loved seeing the Star Wars characters. For Christmas this year I am getting him a couple sets of Star Wars Lego sets. I am so glad to see that he is still so very interested in Lego’s.
When my daughter saw this she said I saw this on TV. I am thinking that she saw a LEGO Building set on TV of some sorts. I was really happy to see the girlish ideas on what girls could to. I am seriously considering possibly picking up a set for my daughter for Christmas this year.
One last thing I REALLY liked about the book was there was LEGO Duplos ideas as well. My daughter has a ton of these and it’s nice to get ideas on different things we could possibly build. I like that again there was a girl idea or two in there as well.
You can purchase The LEGO Book for $24.99.

My whole family, along with the rest of our church community, were involved in building a life-sized Nativity out of Legos!
Hard to choose, but it would have to be one of his transformers (not an actual set…but he made a robot that you could turned into a jet).
He also made the robots from Portal. That was pretty cool.
