Taylor Commercial Baking Mat Review – Scrumptious Cookie Recipe

Taylor Baking Review

One of the things I love to do is to cook and bake. I think my family and friends really enjoy when I bake as well. I also like to try new products that will make cooking and baking much easier. Well I have to say that with the Taylor Commercial Baking – Silicone Baking Mats it has made baking much more enjoyable and easier.

I received a set of two silicone baking mats. They are half sheet size – 16 – 1/2 X 11 – 5/8. This set is reusable and non stick. So you don’t need to use any baking spray or grease. This product is dishwasher safe. It is BPA Free/Odorless. It is a commercial grade. There is also an ebook that is included.

When I first opened the box. I excited unrolled the mats and washed them. I grabbed my other cookie sheets and laid the mats on top of them. The reason I did this was so that it was easier for me to take them in and out of the oven. They are silicone and you could use them with out the cookie sheets, but they would be rather flimsy and you might drop your cookies.

I used the mats to make Heath Toffee and Chocolate Chip cookies. I was super amazed with the results when it was time to take the cookies off the baking mat. I had no idea if they would stick or not. I also did not use any baking spray with them. I have to say I will NEVER use parchment paper again when it comes time for baking cookies. When the cookies were do they came off the silicone mats very nice and easy. They did not stick to the mats. They were very easy to clean up. The crumbs came right off the mats and they were super easy to wash.

I was super impressed with this product. I am so excited that I don’t ever have to use parchment paper making cookies again. I took a video of the moment when it was time to take the cookies off the baking sheet. My only problem was that I placed the cookies to close together and had to cut them with the spatula to get them off. It had nothing to do with the silicone mats at all. You will witness in the video that they came right off the mat and there was little to no cookie left over on the sheet.
