Wordless Wednesday: Winter Wonderland!

I cannot believe how much snow we got this year compared to last year. I am really excited as I love seeing the fresh snow on the ground. Everything looks so pretty. We haven’t been out to play in the newest snow. I should get out there with the kids after dinner maybe and make a snow man as it is the good packing snow. The kids I am sure will have a few days to make up at the end of the year as they had yet another snow day! Hope you all had a terrific Wednesday!

We finally had some snow this year to go sledding. So I met some friends at the park with their kiddos. My daughter had a blast sledding with the kids. Even I went down the hill a few times :)

Wordless Wednesday – Music in the Park

We went to music in the park last week. I didn’t really enjoy the music as much. I did enjoy the company of friends :) It was nice to get out and socialize. My daughter had fun playing at the park while we listened to the music and talked. I took my neighbors daughter with us and the two of them played.

I snapped this picture of them climbing up the chains that look like nets and it was my favorite picture of them. They almost look like silhouettes.

Wordless Wednesday – Awesome Chalk Drawings

Over the weekend the kids in the complex here brought out there chalk. They were occupied doing different chalk drawings. Had to take a picture of them as I thought they were gorgeous.

Wordless Wednesday – Chalk That Glows….Really??

Last night Brittany decided that she wanted to use the glow in the dark chalk that she got for her birthday. So we made the chalk and poured it in to the trays. Was a little disappointed as one chalk did not set. It does not glow for 4 hours like it says.

The glow takes a bit to take effect once you draw with the chalk. I think the adults had more fun then the kids. My daughter was very tired by the time the chalk set. She didn’t really even want to use it.
