Well today Dakota got to meet the Special Ed Teacher during Gym class. He went into gym sat down and bit his nails. He sat on the bench when the gym teacher called out his color to play soccer. So I asked one of the girls to go get him to get him to play. He went out and played but he really just stood there biting his nails. Well I was pretty riled up before the meeting. I still have mixed feelings but no hard feelings really like most of the meetings I have left. I went in there calm and cool and I even had an open mind. I am giving the school till the end of the year to see what happens. I want to see if Dakota’s anxiety and stress get better. My daughter is running a fever this morning. I am rather surprised as she is still on antibiotics for her ear infection. I am not sure if it’s due to teething or not so I am going to give it a day or two  and see how it goes. Unless her fever gets really high then I will take her to the Doctor. I am so very upset and frustrated as I write this post. I am hoping that someone who is in my shoes and dealing with autism or even a special needs child can give me some adivce or tell me your in the same shoes.

This morning I took Dakota to school. When we get to school it’s always my throat hurts and my tummy really hurts. Well I started asking what makes him so upset about coming to school. His response was I miss you, Brittany, and Sugar Bear. I explained to him that he had to be in school. Well then the nail biting began. Well yet again Dakota is sick with a very low grade fever, headache and sore throat. Seems to me that he gets a low grade fever once a week or once every other week.

Brittany was suppose to go to the Drs today but she slept through the night. She is clingy today and demanding attention but that is nothing new. LOL Dakota is going to take her time slot.

Schools policy is that if the kids have a 100 degree fever or higher they are suppose to stay home. So if the next day Dakota is fever free he has to stay home again because he has to be fever free for 24 hours before I send him back.  Read more...
