MarshMedia – An Amazing Homeschool Special Review

One of the things that I love to do with our homeschool is to incorporate video. I have been lucky this time around with this review for MarshMedia as they have about 54 videos that produces health education for grades K – 8. We had the chance to review the Homeschool Special. If this has caught your eye before I get into my review and you wish to take advantage of the opportunity to introduce MarshMedia curriculum to your homeschoolers click on the link below for more information.

Inspired!!

This week was Wi UPCI Ladies Retreat! It was held in Appleton at the Paper Valley Hotel. The theme was Covered, and the stage was decorated with beautiful yellow, pink, and blue umbrellas. The speakers were Vani Marshall and Melanie Shock. Both of these ladies were absolutely wonderful. I am still processing the last three days!

Changing Curriculum Again!! Why Didn’t I Think of This Sooner??

Most of you who follow my blog know that my son has high functioning autism and has a cognitive disability. Well we had a neuropysch appointment a year or two ago and I based all my teaching around that. Well we have now hit high school and he is a freshman. I have been working with DVR as we are getting ready for transition and he is involved in a program with them. Well she hooked me up with the special education center at our technical college.

Girl Scouts Gold Award = Very Disappointed

I have to tell you a story about a wonderful girl who is in a ambassador girl scout troop in which I am a co-leader of. The girl is 21 and is a special needs child. She has been in Girl Scouts since she was a brownie. The reason why she is still in Girl Scouts was that she was in High School until this past year and we are finishing it up at the end of September.

Thursday’s Special Needs Blog Hop #1

Welcome to Super Mommy’s Special Needs Blog Hop. Life got so busy that I just didn’t have much time to blog and I really have missed it. The one thing I missed was the Special Needs Blog Hop. So I thought I would start it up again. The reason behind it is I would love to see the Special Needs Community Closer. I know alot of what we had related to autism but it was nice to see what other special need parents went through and it was nice to know we could all support each other regardless of the special need.
