Christmas In The City

Every year the week after Thanksgiving our town has Christmas in the city. Starting with Friday Night a parade and trip to see Santa in his little house. Saturday there is breakfast with Santa. There is a few events that go on both Friday Night and Saturday. We didn’t attend it this year. We did take a walk down to the Park of Lights to check out the trees during the daytime. I wanted to see what the trees looked and how they were decorated. We didn’t get pictures yet of what they look like at night but I plan on it soon. The Snowman Santa is my favorite. What I love about these decorated trees is that each one had a cost and the cost went back to give back to help others in the community.

Santa Came Early

Well since Old Man Winter had other plans for our Christmas this year we let the kids open their presents this morning. Normally my parents have the kids until Christmas Eve and we watch them open presents and visit a bit. Christmas Day is normally spent with my inlaws.

Last night we got our tree and the kids and I and my husband all decorated it. Brittany did good as she really tried her hardest to hang the ornaments and then there were times the little stinker would take the ornaments off and run. She calls them balls. LOL
