Stepping Stones Together Review

Stepping Stones Together is a website dedicated to Beginning Reading. It was created as a valuable parent-child resource for beginning reading skills. This emergent reading program is most appropriate for children between the ages of 3 – 7 dependent on when they are ready to read.

In my honest opinion I think the program is very affordable. You have two options a 3 month membership for $19.99 or a full year for $39.99. I like the fact that there is five categories to each series: Animals, Fairies, Princesses, Sports, Superheroes, and Transportation. So there is something to get a child interested in reading. The combination of all the books uses 220 High Frequency Words, more than 200 vocabulary words inclusive of the 95 most common nouns in childrens books.

Hannah Montana Forever: Who is Hannah Montana?

HANNAH MONTANA FOREVER: WHO IS HANNAH MONTANA? Released Tuesday November 2, 2010 on DVD.

Here is a little synopsis:

LEGO UNIVERSE released Tuesday

On Monday Night I got to participate in the LEGO UNIVERSE Launch Party with other Mom and Dad Bloggers. I must say that this game is a blast! You have to catch imagination by breaking things. You collect lego pieces to build things. Coins to buy things. There is quests that you follow to earn special pieces and other things. I must admit I got stuck that night on a quest I was working on. I haven’t gone back to the game since only because I myself have had a busy week but I plan on playing again later tonight and I want my son to try it also to see if he would like it. I would prefer that he play this over some of the other games he plays. I love the little Lego Avatar you have. You get to design how it looks. I must have played the game for over 4 hours. It was a lot of fun.

My thoughts:

The Snowman’s Song – A Christmas Story – Review

I received a copy of The Snowman’s Song – A Christmas Story illustrations by Tracy La Rue Hohn, story by Marilee Joy Mayfield, and published by Leaping Antelope Productions.

I must say this is a classic Christmas Story. This story really warms the heart. This is a book I can see reading with my kids over and over again and not just at Christmas.

The illustrations in this book were beautifully done and I really believed they fit the story well.
