Meet The Developers:
Fine Feathered Friends: All About Birds is a new release from Oceanhouse Media. This is part of The Cat In the Hats Learning Library which is nonfiction series that introduces your child to basic science concepts.
My kids and I really enjoyed this book. I think what makes it great is the rhyme you see in all the Dr Seuss books. In this book you go with The Cat In The Hat, Sally and Dick on a bird-watching tour. You observe a variety of birds.
Do you remember the saying: Never judge a book by it’s cover, well in this case it’s a pumpkin. The story The Legend of Spookley The Square Pumpkin delivers a very special message to kids of tolerance and self acceptance. To me it also teaches them it’s ok to be different and everyone has something special about them.
Do you like story books that you can personalize? I absolutely love them. My daughter loves to take self portraits when she reads these books. It is a lot of fun for her to have an excuse to play with the camera on the iphone and ipad. Some of the self portraits she takes are funny.
Cuddly As A Bunny is a really cute personalized story by Om Books, your child can dress up a cute cuddly bunny. You can take new pictures or you can use ones that are already in your photo library. In this particular book your child can dress up as a cuddly bunny, wooly lamb, frisky kitty, a Dalmatian puppy and more. Your child will enjoy the play sounds and the interactive objects as well as seeing themselves in the story.
Have you ever gone shopping with your kids and turned around to look and one takes off and disappears. It has happened to me before. My 3 year old likes to push the child size carts around the store and if you take your eyes off her for a second you see her scurrying down the isle with her little cart. She doesn’t get far before she has to turn around though. I sure know how the mother monkey felt in the story of 5 Little Monkeys Go Shopping by Oceanhouse Media.
