DIY Fluffy Slime Recipe

It has been rainy and gloomy all day! My daughter has been obsessed with wanting to make different slime recipes lately. We just haven’t really made the time. Today was the perfect day though to try a recipe as it kept her busy for a while after we made it! She is so proud of herself as well! This recipe is really easy and it’s not sticky at all.

Squirt Gun Painting – A Fun Twist For Summer

The last couple weeks we have been cooped up in the house with being sick and it also has rained so many of them days as well. We finally had a break from the rain yesterday. It was beautiful outside too. It was a little windy but I think the wind was perfect as it dried our paintings pretty fast! We decided to try squirt gun painting. It is definitely a fun twist on painting outside in the summer. It turns out abstract!

Ooey Gooey Slime Fun

My daughter has been wanting to make this ooey gooey slime…… and ooey gooey is what it is alright…. I caution you as you make this that this is very messy!! Today was the first day all week I have finally felt up to doing things. I got out all the supplies and surprised her. Can’t say she was really excited about the feel at first and seemed a little discouraged that it wasn’t working….it just took a little time.

What You Need:

One CLEAR 5 oz bottle of Elmers Glue – NOTE It must be the clear glue or it will NOT work.

How To Make The Softest Playdough Ever

Softest Playdough

Friday night we had some storms barrel through Wisconsin. At about 9:00 PM we lost our cable and internet. In a way I was glad we lost it as it gave us some time to do things to get away from all that screen time. My daughter and I have been wanting to make different types of play dough. I came across a soft play dough that only required 2 ingredients. My daughter spent hours playing with the play dough.

Dakota got into a painting frenzy lasts night. I love when he gets creative. Unfortunately the picture wasn’t for me but for his teacher. He has been giving her a lot of pictures later. I guess you could say he likes his teacher. LOL
