Well I haven’t been able to do much this week because of the med changes. This time around it was pure hell, not only for me but for Dakota. We started the Intuniv on Tuesday. We took away the clonodine and the dexadrine. Well let’s just say that Tuesday was absolutely horrible. Dakota was so hyper. He couldn’t think before he spoke or acted. He couldn’t calm himself down. His emotions were all over the place. It was terrible. I didn’t like what I saw so I immediately called they psychiatrist.  Read more...

Well yesterday was an appointment I was waiting for and I was quite surprised at how it turned out. In the beginning of June Dakota went to my Uncle’s Farm. My dad told me that he noticed Dakota’s left shoulder jerking a whole lot. I said something to my husband who said I have noticed this for the past 6 – 7 months. I was like why didn’t you tell me. He claims he thought he did. Maybe he did and I thought nothing of it. After my dad told me I really noticed it. I not only noticed it the Autism therapist noticed it then too.  Read more...
