Make Your Own Felt Pumpkin Face Kit

PicMonkey Collage

While I was cleaning out the craft closet I noticed that I had bought felt but never used. See I have thoughts that come in my head and I buy the craft materials for it and then I end up forgetting. I had black and orange felt and thought that would be perfect to make a felt pumpkin kit for my daughter for Halloween.

To make your own pumpkin face kit you will need:

  • 1 piece of orange felt
  • 1 piece of black felt
  • scissors

Starting Some New Family Memories With A Year of Painting

PicMonkey Collage

Lately I have been doing a lot of thinking. I think that all of us spend way to much time on electronics. I have been wanting to make more memorable moments with the kids. I don’t want them to grow up and say well I spent so much time on playing video games we didn’t do anything fun. In fact I try to remember things my parents and I did and I can’t but that was only because my parents owned a bar and it wasn’t always easy for them to get away. So we have been adding in more game nights and going places just to get out of the house.

Very Easy Hand and Foot Halloween Crafts!

Today Brittany had a friend over and we decided we were going to do some Halloween Crafts. Well I am a huge hand and foot print person. I love when kids make art work! The kids have a blast and have a couple more crafts to finish tomorrow.

You Can’t Scare Me! Storybook App Review

You Can’t Scare Me by Wendy Wax is a cute and adorable Halloween Story. I found this story really unique. It’s short and sweet but I loved the fact that it had the kids in costumes.

A little girl is busy putting on her Halloween costume while her friends try to frighten her, to which she replies “you can’t scare me”, UNTIL she gets a glimpse in the mirror, and finally has a fright.

There is three ways to read this book – Auto Play, Read it to me, or Read Myself. You can even record your own voice reading the book. Love it!
