EdTechLens – Rainforest Journey – Review

EdTechLens Review

My daughter absolutely loves science. She loves to be able to watch videos and do some hands on activities while she learns. We’ve been using Rainforest Journey, a fun online science program from EdTechLens as part of my daughters day. My daughter is currently in 2nd grade.

Teach Your Children Cursive With CursiveLogic – Review

CursiveLogic Review

One of the things that I have debated was whether or not to teach my daughter cursive. I know I myself print most of the time as I never liked cursive. I have decided that I do want my daughter to know how to read and write cursive. She can choose how she wants to write later on. We received the CursiveLogic Workbook by CursiveLogic for our review.

IEW Primary Arts of Language Reading Complete Package + Writing Complete Package Review

Primary Art Of Language IEW Review

One of things I struggle with sometimes is finding curriculum that will work with my special needs son. I have tried many different products for language but never found anything that meshed really well with my son until now. Institute of Excellence in Writing has a real heart for special needs kids and has programs that work well with various challenges. We received the Primary Arts of Language: Reading Complete Package and Primary Arts of Language: Writing Complete Package for Review. I have to say I am totally in love with these programs and would highly recommend them. What I received is for special needs children who are a struggling reader/write who is below grade 2.

5 Days of Homeschooling Essentials – Day 5 Curriculum

5 Days of Homeschooling Essentials

Welcome to day 5 of the 5 Days of Homeschooling Essentials. Today’s topic is curriculum.

For me curriculum is a huge essential to my homeschool. Finding what works has been difficult for me over the years until I joined the TOS Homeschool Review Crew. The review crew has really opened up my eyes to things I wouldn’t have even thought to look up or maybe not even bothered with. For a long time I was struggling to find a good curriculum for math and social studies (history) and science for my son. Well thanks to the review crew my problems are solved. Now I just gotta figure out a really good language arts/literature program for my daughter. I am on the hunt for social studies curriculum for her as well.
