Geesh I can’t believe it’s already the weekend. Time sure has flown this week for sure. Today my mom and I are going to go a different zoo then I took the kids last weekend. I hope I survive the humidity as it’s been HORRIBLE the last week or two. I lost count. My poor little rain gauge is thirsty! No rain in sight until Thursday now. And even then it doesn’t look like a big chance right now. Sigh… In case your wondering why I have a rain gauge I am a volunteer weather observer. I report all the rain and snow totals for my town to the National Weather Service.  The leaves are falling from the trees now and the colors are starting to slowly change outside. It is starting to look so pretty out. Fall is my favorite time of year. Next week after school Dakota and Brittany and I might go apple picking.
