Making a Recycled Bird House

Yesterday one of the things we did during science was to make a Recycled Bird House. Is really easy to make and lots of fun too. The only thing I have to pick up tomorrow is some string so we can hang it from the tree. As of right now it’s sitting on the porch in hopes some birds will come and feed from it. Dakota was watching The Cat In The Hat Knows It All on PBS. Well one of the shows we recorded from earlier that is. It was talking about birds. So we thought we would make a bird house and watch and see the different types of birds that decide to eat from it.

Wordless Wedensday – Knock Knock!

We had a little vistor one day and I took this picture with my camera phone through the window so it’s not really clear. It’s a little woodpecker. Had no idea we had any of them around here. I don’t think I have seen him since.
