Exploring Creation Field Trip Journal Review – A very cute idea for memories

Exploring Creation Field Trip Journal Review

Field Trips are something we try to do at least once a week. It is a nice break for the kids and chance to do something together and have some fun while learning. Exploring Creation Field Trip Journal by Apologia Educational Ministries is a fun way to document the special moments of a field trip. Field trips can occur anywhere and can be something as simple as a nature walk, museum, historical sites, and much more.

We received a copy of the Exploring Creation Field Trip Journal. My daughter is absolutely in love with this journal. Personally I think this is great to capture moments and create lasting memories.

What on Earth Can I Do? Review

5a2868f7-bc40-49a3-8883-570d4bfaee38_zps050f1dc0 I was really excited when the review came up for What on Earth Can I Do? by Apologia Educational Ministries. This series was new to me and I was very intrigued when I looked through the sample pages. What on Earth Can I Do? is the fourth book in the series What We Believe. The important thing I wanted to teach the kids is how to put God first in every area of their life based on biblical truths. I want to make them aware of his wonderful creations and know they will be rewarded for their faithfulness.

2013 Blue Ribbon Awards and a Few of My Favorites

This has been one awesome year being on the TOS Crew. I have gotten the chance to  check out many different types of curriculum that I may or may not have looked at before. I have been blessed with finding new things that work with my kids. I have also found curriculum I have been looking for in different subjects for a long time. Watching my kids blossom and enjoy the different reviews was very rewarding.

The 2013 Blue Ribbon Awards The Old Schoolhouse Review Crew are awards that were voted by the TOS Crew as our favorites. The choices were very hard because you could only pick one for each category and well in a couple subjects I had a few favorites.

I have struggled to find a homeschool science curriculum until I found Apologia Educational Ministries. I received the Exploring Creation with Chemistry and Physics Book, Exploring Creation with Chemistry and Physics Notebook Journal, and Exploring Creation with Chemistry and Physics Junior Notebooking Journal.

Exploring Creation with Chemistry and Physics is a homeschool science curriculum geared for kids Gr K – 6. This curriculum uses a Charlotte Mason methodology to give an introduction to the fascinating world of chemistry and physics to students. We are just starting to use this method so I must say it really kept both the kids interested. The kids are learning how God created the universe. This covers atoms, molecules, simple chemicals, laws of motion, electricity, magnetism, and simple machines.
