Little Historic Tour Through Algoma
I think it was last week we were out for a walk. We decided to take a walk through the Harbor Walk and the Board Walk. I didn’t realize that the boardwalk was a half mile. LOL However it was a nice but humid walk with an occassional breeze off the lake. I was amazed with how many seagulls were sitting on the pier. There must have been hundreds of them. They don’t go on the beach because there is fake coyotes. The reason they put them there was because there was so many Canadian Geese on the beach. They wanted the Canadian Geese to find a new spot I guess. Really disappointing this year though because there is a lot of green algae coming up and a lot of little I think they are called edelweis fish that have died and are washing a shore. Very Stinky I must say. For a minute while we walked I had to plug my nose the smell was so bad. Well on with the pictures.
Ship Wreck Close to Home

Yesterday I was at the Marina Park with the kids. I noticed in the distance towards the lighthouse there was a park bench so I thought I would walk towards it and check it out. I tried to take some pictures but I guess it was foggy or hazy as they are not very good pictures. I also discovered a Huge Blue Historical Sign. There was a ship wreck back in 1878 8 miles Northeast of here. How cool is that. Not cool that it happened. But one of the many shipwrecks in the Great Lakes. Even better one close to home. The depth is 100 feet down.
