Summer Fun At The Lake

Author: Yesterday it wasn’t so hot and humid. It was warm but we had a little breeze so it wasn’t bad. I went with some friends and we all went down to the beach. The kids played in the water and they played in the sand and had a blast. To me the water was a little cold. It was refreshing. We wrote in the sand, made sand castles. I watched Brittany get water and dump it in a hole and wonder where the water was disappearing too. It was a great time.

We love going to the beach. We do have a pool though, because the closest beaches are all at least one hour away. Glad you all had a nice and relaxing day in the sun.

The beach is walking distance from here. But we went down farther on the beach so we took the truck.

It was perfect at the beach. We went about 5ish when the heat of the day was past. The lake breeze was nice and it wasn’t to hot or cold. It was perfect.

Well I had to take a break from blogging for a while. Now I am back and I hope to get creative and start making more things. Funny how you can get ideas reading with your kiddos.
That lake is so huge! It looks fabulous. We have a pond with a beach that we visit sometimes but it isn’t as gorgeous as your beach.

The Beach is called Crescent Beach. It actually is a beach on Lake Michigan. I love that we are walking distance. I can stand in the front and see the lake from the front. I love when the waves are high and you can hear them crashing.

It was a perfect day Emmy. I love footprints in the sand. I tried to get one of me and Brittany but for some reason I couldn’t get a good shot of both so I took a picture of hers.
They look like they had a lot of fun. My kids love the beach. Dean loves to be in the water.

Both my kids love the water. They are like little fishes.
How nice that you can walk to the beach and have some reprieve from the heat. I miss that about living in Seattle. In Utah we just head to the mountain lakes instead.

That’s the one thing I love about living here. There is also a couple smaller lakes around that my older one goes to. Door county has a bunch of beaches. We haven’t really gone to them. It’s really been to hot and humid to even want to be outside. The pool was getting filled a lot for a little while.
