I am talking State wise. YIKES that would be scary to lose power for a whole week. We haven't lost power thankfully. The fire department and rescue squad are doing something new here in the county this year. If you have little kids or are elderly and your power is out for a while you call the Sheriff's Department and they send the rescue squad to come and make sure you are all ok. They have a emergency warm place set up in case it's needed. Which I thought was amazing. They never did that before. Thankfully we haven't lost power since yesterday. Very scary when the trees get heavy like that though. We lost power last year for a week in an ice storm, when the trees got like that. Yesterday we got about 11 inches here!
