Slider Frenzy

Do you like quick and easy meals? The quick and easy meals sure did come in handy the last few days. I have been on the mend from being sick the last two weeks. Our new favorite quick and easy dinners are sliders. I never knew how easy they were to make and just how yummy they tasted! Now I have to experiment and come up with some new ideas for sliders as these were such a hit!

Venison Burger Sliders

Venison Burger Sliders

1 lb venison hamburger

1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs

1 egg

1 package of Hawaiian butter rolls

1 TBP melted butter

Preheat the oven to 350.

In a bowl mix the venison hamburger, Italian bread crumbs, and egg until well mixed. In a 13 x 9 pan I flattened out the hamburger into a square shape. I didn’t shape the meat to the whole pan. I made it slightly larger then the package size of rolls. ┬áThe meat will shrink while it cooking. I baked it in the oven for 40 minutes.

I lined a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and I sliced the rolls in half. I set the top aside. Once the hamburger was done I put it on the layer of buns. I added my cheese and put the top layer on. I brushed melted butter on top of the rolls. I baked it for 10 minutes. I let it cool and then I cut as to how the top was shaped.

This was a big hit in the house. My daughter didn’t care for them but my son loved them. I would have added some minced onion to it but I didn’t have any. You can season the meat however you choose.

Ham and Cheese Sliders

Ham and Cheese Sliders

1 lb of deli sliced ham

1 package of sargent sliced cheese any flavor

1 package of Hawaiian butter rolls

1 TBSP melted butter

Preheat the oven to 350.

I lined a cookie sheet with aluminum foil. I sliced the rolls in half. I layered the rolls with ham and cheese. I topped the sliders and I brushed the tops of the rolls with melted butter. I baked this for about 10 minutes or until the cheese was melted. Once cooled I then cut them into 12 sliders.
