Scenic Sunday

This Light House is in Marquette, MI right on Lake Superior. The steps to get up there were nerve racking as I could see the bottom. LOL Then I knew it was a long way down… The view inside the light house of the Lake is spectacular. I don’t remember the name of this Light House. I know there is a Maritime Musuem right across from it.

Well we have a red light house here in town. I will have to take a picture of it out on the Lake later this week and save it for next week.

Marquette is beautiful. I love the UP. The only thing I don’t care for is the long woods of stretch with no cell phone reception between towns.
Very pretty lighthouse!

So cool! I live in Michigan. My Husband and I took our honeymoon around Michigan. We visited a lot of lighthouses. Though, I don’t think I saw this one.

Your welcome Vickie. I am a big light house fan. Next week I will post the one here in my town.
I always find lighthouses to be romantic. Not only do they light up the night but their strategic locations seem to spur so many thoughts too.. *wink
Btw, thanks for dropping by my blog a few days back. XoXoX
