Santa Came Early
Well since Old Man Winter had other plans for our Christmas this year we let the kids open their presents this morning. Normally my parents have the kids until Christmas Eve and we watch them open presents and visit a bit. Christmas Day is normally spent with my inlaws.
Last night we got our tree and the kids and I and my husband all decorated it. Brittany did good as she really tried her hardest to hang the ornaments and then there were times the little stinker would take the ornaments off and run. She calls them balls. LOL
Since the kids are home from my parents we decided last night to leave out the presents. Dakota was the first to wake up and at 5:30 came in our room and said Santa was here. Oh boy the excitement started. LOL We slept a little longer and then we all got up to open presents.
The first thing Brittany saw was a Disney Princess Couch. Oh did she love that thing. She has been playing with it all day along with her blocks. She got a lot of toys that she really likes. I am glad.
I thought Brad would like an MP3 player but since he has his new psp he didn’t want so to the store they went today to take it back. Brad thought of his brother and bough a couple video games for his brother. I thought that was really nice of him. He did that with the Christmas money he has gotten so far.
So tonight we are going to eat popcorn watch A Christmas Story, watch the kids enjoy their presents and have pizza for dinner. Tomorrow I will make a nice dinner and I might even do some baking today.
I am really enjoying just lounging around. In a small way I am glad our Christmas plans were cancelled. Dakota doesn’t have to deal with the stress of a house full of people. I don’t have lots and lots of dishes to do. Best of all we can lounge around in jammies.
This short video of Brittany playing with the bowling bowl set we got her.
Merry Christmas!

That bowling ball set looks very familiar; I could swear that I had one of those when I was growing up. I’m glad that they are enjoying their gifts.

If I would have saw the other bowling sets before I got this one I would have picked it up. They seemed more sturdier but more expensive. So I am glad I got these. She had a ball with her bowling set. Merry Christmas Rondi!
I remember those bowling sets, that is so cute.
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas,
Judy
