Just a quick note: I have been busy the last couple days. Thursday I was all excited that I could catch up on blog reading only to find out that I had problems with my internet I barely could go anywhere on the internet. It was so and wouldn’t load pages. So needless to say I am behind. I promise soon I will catch up!
I don’t have a picture of what this looks like. But I can tell you that it is fantastic. I make this with chicken normally but decided to use my turkey left overs.
Cheesey Turkey Rice Casserole
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Jasmine Rice
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 1 bag (2 cups) Shredded Cheese any flavor will do
- 2 cups of turkey cooked, broke into pieces
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cook Rice as suggested on package.
- Take your cooked rice and add it to a 10 x 13 baking dish, add your soup, and turkey and mix well. Once you have all that mixed add your cheese and mix it up again.
- Bake in the oven for about 30 minutes.

That is ok you don’t have a recipe to trade. Thanks for stopping by
I’ll have to find a recipe that I can share. I cook freestyle throwing in whatever I happen to have in the fridge or cupboard. I rarely use recipes except to bake. I’m going to try your casserole, or hot dish as we call them here, I have gobs of turkey leftovers.

Oh Grampy it is! But don’t make it with Jasmine rice use Minute Rice as it is not as starchy. I haven’t perfected making Jasmine rice yet.
We love cooking with cream of chicken soup. It gives everything such a wonderful flavor. We also use cheese soup. It adds a cheesy flavor to poultry or rice.

I can’t master it yet. Mine is really starchy. But it is really good. I don’t buy it often. I use minute rice but that’s all I had in the house to use.
