Recipe Trader Sundays – Hershey Kiss Cookies

Happy Sunday All! Yesterday I made on of our favorite Christmas Cookies. It’s the Hershey Kiss Cookie! Today I am going to make some Snow Balls. Hershey Kiss Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 3/4 cup sifted all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/3 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions:

Sift soda, flour and salt together. Cream butter, peanut butter and sugars in another bowl. Add egg and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in dry ingredients. Then shape dough into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungresased baking sheet. Bake at 375 for 8 minutes. Take from oven’ place a Hershey Kiss in the center of cookie. Return to oven for 2 – 5 minutes.

    Yes that is so true Ollie! I did a cookie exchange with some friends and I made a dark chocolate chip and mint chip cookie. It was fantabulous.

    Hmmm, this sounds yummy! I love Hershey’s Kisses. I might have to skip the peanut butter because my daughter’s possibly allergic to peanuts, but the Hershey’s Kisses alone make them a winner in my book! :)
