POM Wonderful Review
I recently received 4 bottles of POM Wonderful Pomegranate juice. I loved the fact it was 100% juice. I tasted the juice and it was very tart and reminded me of cranberry juice. Even though it was tart it was really good. Even my daughter liked it. I even got a chance to try one of the recipes from the POM Wonderful website. I must say it was really yummy and I will share that at the end.
I learned that only POM Wonderful products are baked by $32 Million in medical research, primarily in the areas of prostate, cardiovascular, and erectile function. There also has been published clinical studies that have documented the benefits of drinking eight ounces of POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice Daily.
POM Wonderful contains no added sugars, preservatives, colors or cheap filler juices. It’s all natural! I didn’t know they grow their own fruit and picked it by hand. They even manufacture their own bottles.
I highly recommend reading POM Wonderfuls Health Section there is so much interesting information there that explain the benefits of POM Wonderful
The recipes that are listed on POM Wonderfuls website are fantastic. I want to try a POM Bread with Coconut recipe that I saw in their community yesterday. Sounded fantastic!
I made the POM Spice Tea Cake minus the frosting. It was FANTASTIC!
Ingredients:
Cake
- Juice from 2 POM Wonderful Pomegranates,* or 1/2 cup POM Wonderful 100% Pomegranate Juice
- 1/2 cup arils from 1 POM Wonderful Pomegranate
- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Lemon Frosting
- 4 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
Directions:
- Score 1 fresh pomegranate and place in a bowl of water. Break open the pomegranate underwater to free the arils (seed sacs). The arils will sink to the bottom of the bowl and the membrane will float to the top. Sieve and put the arils in a separate bowl. Reserve 1/2 cup of the arils from fruit and set aside. (Refrigerate or freeze remaining arils for another use.)
- Prepare fresh pomegranate juice.*
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a mixer, cream together sugar, shortening and eggs (batter should be slightly lumpy).
- Add pomegranate juice and milk; beat for 2 minutes.
- Sift together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, nutmeg, cloves and salt.
- Add flour mixture to the creamed sugar and shortening mixture. Mix to combine.
- Pour into greased Bundt pan.
- Bake 50 to 60 minutes or until cake tester inserted into cake comes out clean and free of crumbs.
- Let cool. Frost with lemon frosting and decorate with arils.
Lemon Frosting
- Cream lemon juice and butter together.
- Add powdered sugar and beat to a spreading consistency. Thin with water if necessary.
Disclosure: I was not paid for this review. This review is my honest opinoin. I did receive a case of POM Wonderful 100% pomegranate juice and a few facts to share from POM WONDERFUL

I didn’t see that recipe. There is a lot of good recipes on the website. I didn’t realize the benefits of it either as well as I learned a lot about the company itself too. They take pride in what they make.
Let me know if you make the coconut bread, I’ve been eyeing it up as well! Would love if you joined our community and shared your thoughts.
