Overwhelming Christmas and Winner Announced
I must say the last couple weeks have been one heck of a ride. It started with my oldest coming down with influenza B then my other two kiddos got sick. Thankfully Christmas Eve they started feeling better. Getting ready for Christmas felt like last minute rushing this year.
We went shopping on Friday before Christmas. Let me tell you I don’t like shopping at Christmas time because I am not one for crowds. Toys R Us was terrible for shoppers. Lots of rude and impatient people. I had to get out of there as I was starting to get crabby. We did all our shopping at Target! It was happy there people were friendly and laughing. Strangers were talking to you. It was great.
Then came the disinfecting of the house. I feel like that is all I have been doing daily since the kids got sick. I am worn out.
Christmas Eve we made hand print santas for each of the grand parents. Then we baked cookies and candy. I made gum drops, andes candy, andes candy cookies, m&m cookies, andes candies cookies, and peanut butter blossom.
Christmas Day was last minute cleaning, baking, and cooking. My inlaws came over for Christmas day dinner. The kids had a blast opening there presents. Dakota’s favorite gift I think was his remote control race car gun and a xbox game he got. Brittany’s was her Fidget frieind. She has played with that a lot. Brad’s was his TV that he got from his Dad. I had to chuckle as Dakota got this really cool science experiment set and the first thing he said when he saw it was HOMEWORK…lol. We told him that Santa has to bring him something fun to do with school. Brittany said a few times with excitement this is what I really wanted.
The winner to the Lego Idea Book is: (winner has 48 hours to respond or a new winner shall be picked)

Wow! I still can’t believe I won! Thanks again! And I am so sorry your little ones getting sick. Four of my five kids got the flu last month, it was not fun! I hope you all are feeling better. And I also did a bit of Christmas shopping at Target and loved it! First of all, they price matched their own online price for a star wars lego set and let me use a coupon so I saved about $25. Then I had the nicest cashier in the electronics department. She even got excited about my coupons. Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

Congrats! There was something really nice in the air at Target this year. I might have to start their next year in hopes of finding it all there again. I will make a mental note to NOT go in Toys R Us. It was terrible and I don’t know what I was thinking. Good deal on the sale you saved on the Lego Star Wars. The flu was no fun
Thankfully my husband and I didn’t get sick. Happy New Year!
