Our Zoo Trip Was A Little To Quiet
Last week I took the kids to the zoo. We had to get out. We were coooped up in the house sick forĀ a week. The weather was gorgeous. It was not to hot and not to cold. I was a little chilly so I wore a light jacket but the kids and my Dad didn’t wear jackets.
The animals seemed kinda quiet. In fact some of them we didn’t even see at all. They all seemed kinda lazy. Of course we did go probably after lunch time. With it getting warmer they are probably getting lazier. LOL
Even the turtle looked lazy. He laid all sprawled out.
My daughters favorite part was feeding the giraffes. It was really neat as the giraffes were so gentle eating their rye crisps. They even lets us pet them. They stuck around for a picture too. Their spots are their finger prints. No two have the same spots.
My favorite is the Red Panda and the African Cranes.
Dakota’s favorite part was the Lions. They were sleeping when we saw them. When we got to the truck we did hear the lion roar.
Of course while your there you have to have fun feeding the goats. It is kind of funny because you can see which ones are the greedy ones. We tried to make sure they all got some food. It was hard to distract but it was fun.
There are a couple play spots for the kids to play in the zoo. I only got pictures of them playing on one of them. They of course played at both of them
Last but not least we stopped in the gift shop and both kids wanted binoculars. Don’t they look stylish

That is awesome! We’ve never gotten to feed the giraffes. I bet that was cool!

It was really neat. It was funny watching them like the wood post with the huge tongues. It’s like they had to make sure they got every crumb. LOL It was so amazing. The male was way taller then the female too.
