I was sent the Baby Orajel Cooling Cucmber Teething Gel along with a very cute Baby Orajel Character Tooth & Gum Cleanser.

Last night Brittany was fussing so bad that she could not be comforted. She wouldn’t let you pick her up, give her a bottle, nuk, or anything. I figured she must have been teething. Well I know that she has 5 teeth. She has the two front ones that broke through the gums and 3 bottom teeth. Well last night I went to put the Baby Orajel Cooling Cucumber Teething Gel on her teeth and low and behold I felt 2 more sharp teeth. Well the odd thing is that these new teeth are like 2 or 3 spaces away from her 2 front teeth. My boys never teethed this way. So I continued to put it on her gums. I honestly can’t give this product a fair review at the moment because I am not sure if the other teeth are trying to come through. I think they are as they are coming now in full force. I can tell you that I really like the idea of this product being designed to put in the fridge. When you apply the Orajel it’s really nice and cold for the babies gums. Brittany was still fussy after the application. I really don’t want to say that the product didn’t work as her fussing may not even have come from teething. Orajel is a great product and I have used it in the past. I gave her cookie last night and I think she was just hungry. As she settled down after I gave her that cookie. So now I think you can understand why I can’t give an honest review of how it worked.

Here are some thing that I can tell you about Orajel. This product has been around for 40 years. It is a brand that Mom’s trust. I know I am one of those moms. The benefits of  the Baby Orajel Cooling Cucumber Teething Gel is that it offers relief in two ways. The cucumber extract helps cool and soothe painful irratated gums. This gel has high viscosity even after being placed in the fridge to add another cooling element  for relief. I learned that Peditricians pick Orajel as there top choice for pain relief from teething as Baby Orajel works instantly not like the other brands that takes up to 30 minutes before it works. Again I really liked how this product you could put in the fridge to offer that cooling relief to the gums.

Now lets get onto the cute Baby Orajel Character Tooth and Gum Cleaner. I don’t know off hand what character was on the tube. But it was really cute and my daughter seemed to like it. The product came with a tooth brush. This was the first time we used it. The tooth and gum cleaner was clear and I put it on the brush and started brushing the teeth Brittany had. At first she didn’t know what to make of it. She then opened her mouth and let me do it again and again. She must have not minded the taste at all as she took the tooth brush from me and started doing it on her own. She did a good job brushing her bottom teeth. LOL What I really like how soft the tooth brush was and knowing that the Tooth and Gum Cleanser was flouride-free and safe to swallow made me feel a lot better. I can see that she is going to have fun brushing her teeth. The character is from Seasame Street. The character is Abby Cadabby. I just looked at the packaging.

An important thing to know is that parents should start brushing their kids teeth at an early age. This develops healthy habits when the kids are growing up. I learned something new today about flouride. I didn’t understand why it wasn’t in the Tooth and Gum Cleanser until I read that swalling to much flouride at an early age could cause flurosis – which could lead to causing spotting on permanent teeth. Until the child is old enough to spit out the toothpaste it’s safer to use a flouride free Tooth and Gum Cleanser like Orajel. The flavor we received was berry. Brittany didn’t seem to mind the flavor at all. The Baby Orajel Tooth & Gum Cleanser comes in mixed fruit, apples, bananas, and berry. The two characters are Elmo and Abby Cadabby. You can get this with a finger cot or toothbrush!

Honestly I am highly recommending the Baby Orajel Tooth and Gum Cleanser! It’s very safe to use and my daughter loved it. She even loved brushing her teeth which I think she could have done for a very long time in one sitting. LOL Orajel is a brand I trust and it was a brand I used with my boys and I will continue to use this brand with my daugther. I learned alot today about these two products that I didn’t know before. In fact both of these were new to me as my boys are older.
