I did make this bread Sunday Night. I made this for my husband to take to work. I don’t make a lot of Breads in summer typically. But we haven’t really had much of a summer either. LOL
Pumpkin Bread Recipe
1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup of pumpkin puree
1/2 cup olive oil
2 eggs beaten
1/4 cup water
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon allspice
- Preheat oven to 350. Sift together flour, salt, sugar, and baking soda
- Mix the pumpkin, oil, eggs, water, and spice together. then combine the dry ingredients, but do not mix to thoroughly
- Pour into a well greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan. Bake 50 – 60 minutes until a think skewer poked in the center comes out clean. Turn out of the pan and cool on rack.
Makes 1 loaf
