Merry Cubes iPhone App Review – Puzzle and Dancing Fruit – Too Fun

Merry Cubes is a 3D Cube puzzle game. It’s very simple. You just swipe, tap, and match the fruit. Once you have matched the fruit you will see the fruit dance as a reward for completing the puzzle. This was designed for little fingers ages 2 – 7.

6 different 3d fruit to match and discover
2 levels of difficulty – easy (4 cubes) and hard (9 cubes)
funny animations as a reward after every other fruit is matched and surprising animations at the end of the game
designed for kids – no confusing menus or navigation

What I Like:

What I didn’t tell you above that this was designed in coordination with preschool teachers. I love the fact that Merry Cubes helps develop fine motor skills. Your probably thinking how. Well to turn the cubes the child can use to fingers to turn them. Sure it’s easier just to swipe and tap. But it’s a little more of a challenge when your using two fingers to turn the cubes. Now my daughter’s fine motor is great this came easy to her. Now my son on the other hand needs work so it takes him just a little longer to turn the cubes. That’s ok it will come in time I love the color scheme in the game. The dancing fruit are just way to cute! The number one thing I liked about Merry Cubes is the fact that it is really easy for kids to navigate through. I like the fact it doesn’t have any complicated menus. All in all my kids were really into the puzzle portion of it. My daughter giggled at the dancing fruit. I love the fact that there is reward after completing the puzzle. I think that is what really kept my daughter into it.
