  I do have family near by. Sometimes I wonder how much my parents really understand. Not saying they don’t. Just frustrating with them sometimes. My neighbors are really understanding.   I don’t like storms either. Born and raised in Michigan, I never have gotten used to the bad summer storms. I taught in Florida the year they had five hurricanes….yikes! Now, I live in Brisbane, Australia…no bad storms here. Lovely!

  I hate storms too. I have been in 2 terrible storms that have involved a tornado. So when storms get fierce I get nervous. I ALSO love candles. It’s a toss up between Yankee and Partylite though. They both have good scents.

  Nice to meet you! I’m visiting from this week’s Blog Hop. I love candles, too, but Tyler Candles are my favorite. I find that they burn much more efficiently than the Yankee ones do, and I’ve never had a Tyler Candle that had wax left over when the wicks were finished!
