This picture was taken last Friday. There was heavy rain and some thunderstorms west of here. I loved how the sunset looked against the clouds. In the picture it looks like the sky is on fire!

That is so very true! It was beautiful. I think my camera added more color then there was.
Hi Stacie, thanks for your comment on my blog- you were right about this photo. It is brilliant- what gorgeous colours, certainly does look like a fireball. I love having a gorgeous sunset with loads of clouds about- it always makes the pictures more interesting. Thanks for stopping by

I love the variety of the sunsets. The pinks and the purples but this was something else. Thanks for stopping by.

LOL Nope it’s not the house. I thought the same thing when I saw the picture in the camera. For some reason my camera seemed to darken or add more color.
The brilliance here is outstanding. The sharp colors are strangely soothing, looking as much as fair weather even though part of a powerful storm. A nice picture for calm and/or storm!
