My oldest son recently graduated from High School in Ohio. I was a little bummed as I felt like I was missing out on it. My parents left for Ohio on Thursday. Friday I was told they were going to Canton, OH to see the Football Hall of Fame. While my husband and I went to my parents house. I needed to bring in a package that was delivered and my husband was cutting the grass. I decided after I hung up with my Dad to go outside and clean out my car.
When I am heading outside I see this kid walking towards the house and I was a little confused. Looked back for Brittany looked again and I saw my mom and dad. I realized it was my son. I haven’t seen him since July. I cried as I have missed him. I was told by my Dad that we were having his graduation party Saturday.
So I was on the phone calling everyone that was important to us. Believe it or not most of them came for the party. We kept it simple, soda, brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, chips and dip, and cake. The rain held off but it was only in the 50s.
My son invited a few of his friends and it was lots of great laughs.
It’s going to be hard when my son leaves Friday to go back home. I am enjoying the time I have with him now
