Each Monday I have decided to take the time and write what our favorite apps for the week are. This week again is mainly all my daughter as she has been hogging the ipad. We rotate alot of apps each week and we are constantly searching for new and fun games. Either I have been buying them or they have been free.

Just want to make a little note and throw this out there. This week and I believe it’s in three more days, Toca Boca is coming out with Toca House. My daughter saw the video and has been asking me everyday if she can have it. Very hard to explain to a three year old she has to wait. LOL

happyKids VET is a favorite of my daughters. What happens is you pick a pet from the waiting room and then you give it an xray and some dots appear. You click on the dots for little mini games. There is 24 different puzzles and minigames, interactive animations, lots of sound effects, no ads, and no inapp purchases. You can purchase this in the itunes store for $1.99. It is compatible with ipad.

Write My Name I had originally bought for my son to work on tracing and fine motor skills however my daughter got her little fingers on this and is in it many times a day. Your child can trace both upper and lower case letters and there is a area where you can enter your own word and once the child traces the letter your voice comes over with the word is. My daughter absolutely loves that feature. I love how each letter is said once the letter is traced. Another things is you can trace 100 common sight/doch words. This is compatible with ipad. You can purchase this in the itunes store for $1.99

Wood Puzzle Maze is another one we recently purchased. There is 17 different puzzles (3  Halloween – 3 Christmas). After each puzzle completion there is a fun reward and sounds.  My daughter absolutely loved this. Although at times she had to ask for help because she couldn’t figure out why she couldn’t move her piece. It was because there was one in front of it. For example there was a puzzle that had you match the babies to their momma’s. Very cute. Right now you can purchase this for 99 cents. I think if I am not mistaken there is a sale and I am not sure how long it will last. This is compatible with ipad.

MyPad is great for facebook and twitter. It’s everything all in one. I absolutely love it. You can see all your feeds, response, notifications all in one great app. It’s so very easy to use. I also like the trending apps you can see too. There is a free version to this but it has ads in it.
