Christy that is really scary. My son has seizures and each one scares the crap out of me. Good Luck if you write them. I never heard a response from them.

I have this exact same thermometer and when my daughter had a fever it was reading 98-100 degree. This didn't cause concern for the nurse when I called her and told her what was going on. But just as I hung up the phone with the nurse my daughter had a febrile seizure. It is one of the most terrifying moments of my life. I am for sure writing the company right now. This is one of the most important tools in a first aid kit and if is reading one degree off it could sent any child to the ER.

Glad I am not the only that has this and it didn't work. I tried to contact the company but they didn't respond.

I also bought this and I have never been able to get it to work. It always reads low and my son has a very high fever just don't know what but a mom can always tell. Thanks for your comment
