Happy Monday

Author: We had a pretty good weekend here! Saturday I took Brittany to Green Bay and we went Trick or Treating in the mall. I am going to save my pictures of that for tomorrow for All About Kids Tuesday. She loved grabbing the candy out of the buckets. Some people even gave her a piece for each hand. She tried to eat the candy wrapper and all. LOL
Brittany was a pumpkin fairy. The costume was a little small. That’s ok we still had fun anyway. I don’t think she really knew what to make of it. I thought it was way to cold to take her outside trick or treating. We were going to go around the block at my parents but it was just to cold. Dakota didn’t want to go with us.
Earl took Dakota around town here. He came home all excited with this candy. I didn’t get to get a picture of him as he was gone before I got home. I think I do have a picture on my camera of him in the cosutme.
Before we went to the mall I stopped at Fast Care for Brittany. They were going to charge me 52 dollars. I said aren’t you billing the insurance and she said we collect the payment up front and then reimburse. I said sorry that’s what I have insurance for and walked out. I would have happily paid the co pay but not the whole visit.
Yesterday I took her to the hospital at Kids Care to get her checked out. The doctor said no ear infections, no fever, no red throat. She said it could be possible that her ears are still bothering her from the last infection or it could be a virus coming on. So time will tell.
After I got home yesterday it was just a relaxing day around here. I got to catch up on some of my shows. Today I have an appointment for the Doctor. I have no idea what I did. My arm is swellon a little. It hurts a little. Nothing I would take meds for. It’s not that bad I haven’t even taken Ibueprofin for it. Hopefully it’s nothing.
Tomorrow I am taking part in #bakingday. I am looking forward to it as it will be my first time. I have lots of things on my list I want to bake. Lots of muffins and cookies. I am getting started for the holidays.

Sadly, we have those type of clinics here too. Its sad really. But then again we also have the hospitals and minor emerg centers that don’t even ask you any questions til after you have seen….which sometimes is even worse! I hate it when you have to go there and then wait, especially when you have a sick kid! The last time I took Gannon I said her is all my info. Take it now, because when I am done with seeing the dr, I am leaving…not waiting additional time so you can get the billing handled!

They always take ours before even in the hospitals. We didn’t wait hardly at all when I took her to Kids Care. We sat down and then were called and were in and out of there. She is doing pretty good. A little cranky last night but I think it’s more or less her teething.

We had the same thing happen to us last year. It’s ridiculous that they do that. It was an Urgent Care and they used to file with no problem, now they don’t. Hope you have fun baking today. I have both kids with me today. My daughter has off because of Election Day. I am going to try to get Tuesday for Kids done and link it to you later.

Isn’t it a shame they do that. Oh well I just know not to go there now. I will have fun baking today after I get my ultra sound done on my arm. I am going to put up the kids here shortly! I am so behind on blog reading again.

By the end of last night my arm was really tender. I did go to the Dr Monday and I had an ultrasound yesterday. I am still waiting for the results of the ultrasound. I am sure today I will hear something.
