Gym Incident

As you know I took Dakota to gym for 20 minutes on Thursday. I was told when we stopped in the office to sign in that there was a substitute. I thought to myself oh boy. This is going to affect Dakota and it did because if he could have he would have shut down.

When I walked in she was sitting on the bleachers the kids were running around with a ball and tagging people and they had to freeze. But the weird thing of this game is that they had to stay on the lines. Couldn’t skip lines or cut corners. Dakota was tying his shoe and he got tagged. So he sat there chewing his finger nails and covering his eyes. It was rather loud in there.

Then the gym teacher decided that it was time to start a new game. She asked if anyone didn’t have the ball. She KNEW that Dakota didn’t have the ball. He even raised his hand. Well then new people got the ball but it wasn’t Dakota so I was a little ticked off about that. She was constantly nagging the kids.

One boy had to sit on the bleachers and she told the girl to go to the other end. Well the girl only sat oh about half way from the end. Well the gym teacher said You need to follow direction. I told you to go to the other end of the bleachers. Now please go to the other end. The girl didn’t move. She asked the girl Do you want to go to the Principals Office. She didn’t say a word. She said get down and go to the Principals office then. The little girl didn’t budge. She asked for the girls name. The little girl remained silent. So she asked a boy her name and who the teacher was. She then I am guessing called the Assistant Principal to come down.

The gym teacher ended class like 5 minutes early saying that there were to many arguments and that they could get water. Told them to get in line. One boy didn’t want to and said he didn’t care if he got water they were having milk in class. LOL Well that’s when the Assistant Principal walked in. Not sure she liked the tone of voice of the Gym Teacher or not. Will be glad when the regular gym teacher is back tomorrow.

I didn’t like her attitude towards the kids. I thought it totally sucked. I can now see why Dakota wanted to shut down. I am glad that I did get him there. Wonder what today will bring? Three more days left and we are finished for the summer.

Sorry about this but that bitch!!! It seems that she needs to go to the principals office. She sounds like a horrible wench. I do hope you reported this to the principal yourself :)

I didn’t really have to report her as she walked in and by the look on her face I don’t think she liked how she was talking. LOL I did mention it to the special ed teacher though. I felt so bad for the little girl. If I were her I probably wouldn’t have said anything either. Personally I think she was far enough away from the boy that it didn’t need further reprimanding. She was fine and quiet and not doing a thing.
