Apple has created some pretty marvelous gadgets lately that enable human beings to live better, easier and more beautifully. Here’s our list of must-have apps to assist the busy person and to achieve better organization.

ParkPatrol
ParkPatrol is an app that I have only recently been introduced to. It is an app that I can no longer live without and has saved the day many a time. It is a parking reminder app and uses GPS to let you check-in your vehicle. This only takes one click. A message is then sent to you warning you of parking officers in or around the street. Save your bacon and get on this app.

XE Currency
XE Currency app is one that I use almost daily to keep up-to-date with world currency. It features live currency rates, charts and converts currencies from every country in the world. It’s like computer finance at your fingertips, and it’s a pretty useful tool, whether you’re traveling overseas or just shopping smarter.

Soundhound
Hear a song on the radio, on a television commercial or in the elevator of a shopping mall that you have a burning desire to find or hear again? Soundhound will ensure that you know everything about the song including the song title, the artist, lyrics and other track related information. Simply tap the screen and this app can recognize the tune in less than four seconds. You can even sing or hum a tune into it and it will listen and tell you what it is. No more brain-blocks. Amazing.

Find My iPhone
Find My iPhone is a must-have for anybody with ownership of an Apple device (see also: find my iPad, iPhone touch or Mac). This app relies on the in-built GPS system to find your device wherever it is located and to protect your data and give you the ability to send your phone a message or wipe it of its data in the event that it falls into the wrong hands. If your phone is lost, log on to the Find My iPhone website from any computer- type in your username and password and all information is immediately at hand. An absent-minded user’s dream!

iReconcile
iReconcile is an excellent, smart and simple way for money management and budgeting. The budget tracker tool is my favorite feature and it can be zoomed in or out to yearly, monthly, weekly or even daily budgeting. The rollover feature lets you keep an eye on remaining funds and your fixed monthly bills, such as mortgage repayments, are all automatically synced upon initial entry into the planner. Best of all, you can sync this to your other devices automatically and with added pin security, your information is kept private.

Alecia is an IT guru, an iPhone devotee and lover of sharing knowledge when she’s onto a good thing. In terms of getting her hands on the latest technology, she relies on computer finance plans from providers like Flexirent, to make sure she keeps up in the seemingly never-ending technology race.
