Give Me Five – End of Summer Wrap Up Thoughts:

Spur of the Moment Trips – Well we didn’t have any much of these this year. I think we did two trips this summer. We headed up to the UP for some good fun!

Swimming At The Beach – I think we had the pool out once and the slip and slide out twice. We didn’t have much of a warm summer as it was cooler and dryer. I would have liked to take the kids to the State  Park to go swimming. Maybe next year.

Shanty Days – Well I didn’t visit Shanty Days this year as I didn’t feel like venturing out in the crowds. It didn’t go out with a bang as the waves were to high and crashing over the pier so no fireworks. What a bummer! We look forward to seeing them every year.

Park Fun – This we did get to do! We visited different parks around the area and let the kids play. There were times they played for hours. We shall still get to do this until it’s to cold to be outside.

4th Of July Gills Rock – Yes made it to Gills Rock like we do every year for the 4th of July. For the most part it was fun. The fireworks were fantastic. They even had to grand finale’s. Was a little disappointed with the boat rigada this year. Looking forward to next summer!
