Well it’s Friday and that means it’s time for Friday Follow hosted by One 2 Try, Hearts Make Families, and Midday Escapades.

First I will start with my news. I know have talked about Dakota and school several times. I have said that I don’t think Dakota can handle going to school. The other day we were on our way home from school and Dakota let out this shriek and started crying and screaming his chest hurt. Well I thought nothing of it and didn’t call the Doctor as I was already stressed out from the morning we had that morning. He was on some new pills that made him 10X worse then what he was. I got hit kicked, bit, screamed, and swore at that morning. I had to carry him and put him in the truck twice to get him to school that day. I called the Psychiatrist and he said to stop the meds. He was also concerned about the chest pain. So he is ordering a EKG. We will be doing that Monday after we see the Psychiatrist. The in home counselor was here yesterday too. She also thinks that Dakota can’t handle school. Now that’s not what we were thinking last week. Well ok I said it all along but she didn’t. She asked if Algoma provided home based education and I said yes. But I have no idea how we are going to go about getting it. Yesterday after school I tried to tell 2 of the teachers and it’s like they don’t believe how serious this is. They didn’t respond about the EKG. I almost feel like they think I am nuts or something. My attitude yesterday was why even bother telling them anything anymore when I get the I don’t know what we can do or they change the subject. So really we have to wait and see what the Dr says on Monday and hopefully he will put something in writing and that will have a BIG weight on what happens next at school. Fingers crossed it’s what I am hoping and have been hoping for a while.

I got woken up this morning at 6AM by my Uncle who called to wish me Happy Birthday. Freaked me out as he never calls that early in the morning. It was a nice surprise. My son left me a note in my laptop that said Happy Birthday. What a nice surprise that was. Little sneak! I went to facebook and OMG my whole page was filled with Birthday wishes. Never seen that happen before. Today I am going to go out to lunch with my mom. I think we are going to Tuscan’s. They have the best chimichangas next to the Mexican Restaurant we like.

I have been kinda quiet the last week only because I have been stressed out with the behaviors we have been going through with Dakota. I am so glad he is off the meds as they were really extreme behaviors. I still get the fight once I mention it’s time to go to school. I haven’t really felt like talking on facebook nor really reading blog posts as it’s been kinda rough. Things are looking up now.
