Saturday night or should I say early Sunday morning, It was a little after 1 AM when I was about to go to bed. Dakota had waken up and said he was going to get a drink. He comes back to lay down and gets up again. Didn’t say anything. All of a sudden I heard to be what I thought was throwing up all over my hallway and kitchen floor. This went on for a couple hours. Poor kid tried to lay in his bed and threw up in his bed. So he had to try to sleep on the couch. Well he never was able to get back to sleep.

For Dakota not getting back to sleep is not a good thing and especially with him being sick and his seizure threshold is lower and he could possibly have a seizure. He did take a nap a couple times during the day and he went to bed about 8 PM last night. Poor kid was afraid to eat. He didn’t eat until late in the afternoon. He started eating a ton of applesauce and later he ended up eating some popcorn. I think it all stayed down as I didn’t hear him get up.

I worry most about Dakota’s seizures as they always seem to happen in his sleep. If you don’t look closely you wouldn’t be able to tell. I haven’t seen a Grand Mal seizure for a long time. I wonder sometimes how many has he had that I never noticed. He use to have these blinking and staring seizures when he was younger. Thankfully he out grew those.

It’s 7:40 AM and Dakota is still sleeping. I am keeping him home today to make sure that his foods stay down and that he is well rested after him throwing up and staying awake so long.

I didn’t really get a chance to tackle what I wanted to yesterday so I will be doing it today.
