This weekend has been pretty nice so far. Friday was the last of the hot and humid days. Friday the kids and hubby and I decided to check out the pre rummages (the day before the city wide rummate). We hit the jack pot at one rummage sale. Brittany got a new kitchen set with all different toys for $5.00. We found a shelf for DVDs that even has two drawers in it. The girls walked down to the bakery for ice cream. Couldn’t help but show you the pictures of the Ice Cream Kisses.

Saturday was the city wide rummage. Was a little disappointed with it as it didn’t seem like as many people did it this year. After rummaging I went out for a Girls Night Out.  We went for dinner at the Port O Call in Kewaunee. We sat on the deck because it was gorgeous. The view of the harbor and the cool breeze was fantastic. Dinner was great. I had a philly cheese steak sammie with seasoned criss cut fries. The portion sizes are huge. You definitely get your moneys worth.

Then after dinner I came home and sat outside with the neighbors. We sat around the fire pit and just talked. I think I came inside at almost midnight. It was a nice night. The kids and even the adults roasted marshmallows.

Not sure what today will bring. All I know is I have cleaning and laundry to catch up on. Hope you all had a great weekend.
