Eebees Mix and Mash Adventures Review and Giveaway

Eebee’s Mix and Match Adventures In The Kitchen for Baby and You is the first ever cooking with your baby book. This book is published by Sterling Publishing Co. Your baby meal time and snack time just go easier, smarter, and a whole lot more fun. What is great is that this inspires playful ideas of mixing, mashing, smashing, squishing, splashing, coating and stirring. Parents of babies and toddlers can play a game, build nutritional skills, and have story time – all while you are feeding baby. For babies 6 months and older.
There is a new trend out their people are feeding their babies real food verses the jarred foods. What I didn’t know was different cultures were actually feeding their babies real foods for a very long time. This trend is also bringing parents who don’t cook into the kitchen.
There is growing awareness that “unhealthy foods + kids = unhealthy adults” is really changing attitudes and behaviors about what we feed our kids and about how and when we educate them about healthy choices.
Good habits start when kids are young. The first year of life is so important in a babies life. Babies have intellectual, physcial, and social development. Research makes one thing really clear and that is healthy growth and development requires rich interactions with people and objects in a babies world. ( This includes food!!)
I was so excited to review this with Brittany. We received the book filled with 6 recipes along with the DVD of Eebees Mix and Mash Adventures. This is absolutely a fantastic idea for easy and healthy snacks as well as providing children with early learning skills. The DVD has Eebee and adult showing step by step how to make each recipe. There is also a little clip I believe called Glass Half Full. My daughter absolutely loved watching the other babies as well as eebee playing with the water. She would scream baby everytime a new baby would show up. LOL There is also a part that talks about Kids and Play and I found it to be very interesting. Everything a child does is learning through play and people talking.
My daughter and I made blueb-eebee soup. That was a really simple snack. It was with blue berries and water. Blueberries are great sources of vitamins and fiber. My daughter loved to stir the water and blueberries. She loved sipping the water off her spoon. She even used the spoon to toss blueberries. Luckily I turned off the camera as I had to duck from a few of those blue berries. She squished them with her fingers, tried them frozen, and even ate them when she was done with the soup part. I was amazed that she liked blueberries. I even learned something new.
We had fun with this and it gave me new ideas for snacks as well as more ideas for play in the kitchen with food.
Being in the kitchen is nothing new for my daughter. When I am making cookies she wonders over to me when I pick up the mixers and says help!! She loves to help stir things with the mixers as well as dump the ingredients in. This was really great for both Brittany and I .

Hi Stacie
! With mine, we crush up the blueberries and add a little lemondade and ice. it’s a wonderful drink for me too.
That makes two daughters who love blueberry drinks
My daughter also likes to make mushy-gush. Which translates to her putting everything possible into a mixing bowl from the kitchen (flour, sugar, onions, etc). Mixing it and declaring is ready to eat (for Barbie of course).
I love it when I hear more stories about parent’s just letting kids have some fun.
